Guy from Germany seeking for help from Spain

Yeah I thought so. I know the German process very well. We have special Export plates, but I don't think such plates are available in Spain?
The problem is, our short-time registration plates (5 days) are officially neither accepted nor not allowed outside Germany. It's a legal grey-zone.

Temporary plates are available in Spain also but I don't think you need them.

PS: I'm mailing the guy called Zorkum. He usually answer faster the e-mail questions.

Hi Vadim! Thank you very much for your efforts!
I know there is some kind of "tourist plates" in Spain for foreigners. But I am afraid of dealing with the Spanish car registration office without speaking any Spanish. I'd also have to get Spanish insurance.
The easiest way would be to leave the car registered on Spanish plates until I register it in Germany. But I don't know whether this is actually possible.

You can leave the car with the original plates and make the registration in Germany. In my opinion you shouldn't have any kind of problem.

Well JCostas said he doesn't think this is possible. I will contact the "Trafico" on this subject as soon as I have more information from Zorkum. I hope they are able to help me out.
